The "static" Pokemon which you either are given, fight on the overworld, or are sold. The ability of each Pokemon to learn each TM or HM move. The contents of each TM which can be taught to Pokemon to give them additional moves (HM moves are not changed to make sure you can still beat the game). The moves that Pokemon learn by gaining levels. The abilities of each Pokemon, in games where they exist. The base stats which define the potential of each Pokemon. The Pokemon that Trainers use against you.The Wild Pokemon you encounter in grass, caves and other places. In the same vein as previously released randomizers, it provides a customized gameplay experience by allowing you to randomize many things: This adds in a ton of strategy to the way you go about the battle. The Universal Pokemon Randomizer is a program which will give you a new experience playing Pokemon games. You can switch between them as you battle and this does not take up one of your turns. Here you have three Pokémon out in battle, but only one can take damage and attack at a time. You can now take part in triple battles that are kind of cool, but more interesting than that are the rotation battles. There are also two new ways that you can battle. Your Pokémon now can have four moves in their arsenal which adds a great deal to the strategy you will use in battle. It is really hard to put your finger on it, but the battles just have a much quicker pace to them here than in previous games. One of the things that I feel really helped me get super invested into Pokémon - Black Version is the battle system. Just little things like the characters speaking with speech bubbles instead of a text box make the game a more cinematic kind of experience. The Unova region is great and looks really cool and I like how the Pokémon have a bit more animation this time around. I do feel that this looks much better than what Diamond and Pearl offered in terms of its visuals. I think it is also because this game has some great graphics. I know it is a personal preference thing, but I really like the Pokémon that this generation introduced.

One of the most notable things about Pokémon - Black Version is the game's roster! This adds in over 150 new Pokémon or you to catch.
